The Stories We Carry

Arts, Identity & Community Voices

Every person carries a story.

Some are celebrated. Others remain unheard.

The Stories We Carry is a participatory arts project that creates space for people whose experiences are often overlooked to share their stories through photography, audio storytelling, creative workshops and public exhibitions.

Working alongside artists, facilitators and community partners, participants will explore themes of identity, resilience, belonging and lived experience. Together, we'll create a powerful collection of stories that challenge assumptions, build understanding and celebrate the richness of our communities.

This is not simply a storytelling project. It is an invitation to be seen, heard and valued.

  • Portrait photography

  • Audio interviews and recorded stories

  • Community conversations and events
